There's a third member of the family working at h.q. in McLean. M is temporarily filling in for a woman who's on medical leave from editorial. He's answering phones, making copies, filing things, sitting in on meetings -- a great experience for the next six or eight weeks. And he can still keep his night job at Macaroni Grill, while also finishing up the last couple weeks of school.
C, E and I (along with E's friend Neil) went to the Nats-Pirates game Thursday night. Wonderful new stadium. And the Nats won (though C and I left after the fifth inning because it was getting pretty cold and I had to work the next morning).
Yesterday, C and I went to W. Va. Did a little work around the place, took a hike, relaxed. This morning, I drove to a coffee shop to use their wifi to do a little blogging. We got back to Chantilly in mid-afternoon, and then did more work on the yard here.
It's E's 20th birthday on Wednesday.
