We've been going to the Canaan Valley in West Virginia for many years, but we'd never been confronted with the amount of snow that was piled halfway up our driveway and on the house when we got there yesterday.
As you'll see, the plowers have run out of places to put it. And, since we hadn't been able to get there for more than a month, quite a bit had accumulated on the decks. Getting in was a challenge. We dug a tunnel between mounds.
Thankfully, it was a beautiful day on Saturday and being outside was great. We took it slow and by lunchtime today had the decks in good shape. No skiing this time, but I'm hoping to go back next weekend.
Quite a way to spend the weekend after having been through the blizzards here in N. Va.
