One week 'til vacation!

Talked to Martha earlier about our schedule. For everybody else, here are our plans:

- We head to L.V. on Saturday.
- I go to the Bills game on Sunday, while C stays in L.V. and relaxes with Martha.
- We stick around L.V. until Tuesday, when we head to the "cabin."
- Thursday we go home to Va.

Other notes/questions:

- We'll have the dogs with us.
- Anybody interested in breakfast in Ellicottville on Sunday before the game?
- Jim and Cindy: Want to come down to L.V. on Saturday?

This weekend, C and I popped in on E at Shepherd briefly. It was parents' day, but it was also drizzling. So we didn't stick around for the barbecue (which didn't seem to offend E). We dropped off some stuff she needed and then headed to the cabin.

Unfortunately, it takes 3 hours to get there from Shepherd -- almost the same as from here in Va.

Fortunately, most of the work that's needed to be done to make the "waste" issue at our house (as at many others on the mountain) legal has now been done. The original developer is being forced by the state to make things right, in part because we let the state come on to our property to see how badly things were originally done. Score one for the little man.

M did his weekly gig at Potbelly's today. Along with a "full" load of classes, he's helping put together the music for a play that a friend has written and is directing at Mason. This should be a good experience for him.
