Jamming in the basement; Byrd in the office

M's home for the (long) weekend. He's jamming in the basement with a buddy.

Tomorrow, he and I are due to go hear Roger McGuinn play at the Barns at Wolftrap. McGuinn was the brains behind the '60s band The Byrds, an old favorite of John's and mine. He's on a solo tour. Then on Friday, McGuinn's coming to the office to talk about how he uses modern technology to record these days. One of my colleagues wrote a column about how he does it and McGuinn agreed to come in and discuss it further.
